Our Automation & Control System Division typically carries out the following functions:

  • Identification of customer needs and canvassing for new concepts and technologies.
  • To understand and establish technical clarity of the project requirements.
  • Conceptualization of control system strategy.
  • Identification of the required control components / systems like PLC’s, Variable Speed Drives, PC/HMI systems, Panels, Instrumentation, Annunciators, Cabinets and all other third party item required for the particular project.
  • Formulating the specifications of the above.
  • Procurement
  • Detailed Engineering/Services such as:
    • Preparation of Functional Design Specifications and onsite/offsite Testing procedures.
    • PLC / RTU / SCADA / HMI system Design
    • Selection of Instrumentation
    • Programming / Configuration
    • HMI database customization, graphics development
    • Preparation of detailed drawing and documentation
    • Panel Engineering, Assembly and Wiring
    • Conducting of Factory acceptance tests
    • Commissioning and Site acceptance tests

Panel Engineering, Assembly, Wiring and Testing:

We have in-house capability for Assembly and Wiring of control components in panels. Our facility has the necessary infrastructure to carry out the Assembly, Wiring and Testing of Panels and Cabinets, housing, Controls and Automation products.

With reference to the above, the functional distribution of tasks between M/s Prudent, and the client is as follows

  • M/s Prudent Solutions Ltd. (PSL) will undertake a single point responsibility for the works awarded.
  • PSL will co-ordinate with the end-user/client and establish techno-commercial clarity.
  • PSL/Client shall mutually establish the makes/specification of the panel components and also decide the agency responsible for its procurement. This shall be project specific.
  • The client/end user shall be responsible to furnish all relevant technical information of items supplied/free-issued by them.
  • Based on the above PSL shall prepare General Arrangement, Internal Panel drawings and submit it for approval.
  • Simultaneously PSL shall order/organize for all items/panel components under its scope of supply.
  • On receipt of client’s approval, PSL shall proceed with the manufacturing of the panel.
  • PSL shall arrange for the assembly/wiring and testing of the panels. The QA/QC procedures will be drawn out by PSL. The same shall be forwarded for approval if required.
  • PSL will be responsible for receiving, proper storing and handling of items free-issued by the client.
  • PSL will take all possible steps to ensure non-disclosure of proprietary information furnished by the end user/client.
  • PSL will be responsible for the internal testing and FAT tests.
  • On approval after FAT, PSL will prepare As Built drawings and submit it to the end-user.
  • PSL will supervise the road/air/sea worthy packing of the panels (project specific).
  • PSL shall be responsible for coordinating, the timely execution of the project.
  • PSL shall organize to depute foreman/technicians to site if need arises.
  • PSL shall periodically evaluate and affect necessary improvements to the workshop facilities to ensure that high quality of works is maintained.
