Following is the list of projects that are either completed or are in progress:
1. Aluminium Bahrain (ALBA), / Airmech, Bahrain
Engineering, Assembly Testing, Supply & Commissioning of Allen Bradley PLC System for the integration of old Jetty with new Jetty using Data Hi-way Communication including supply of Cabinets and associated accessories.
2. The Bahrain National Oil Co. (BANOCO), Bahrain.
Completed project, which included turnkey supply of PLC & MOV Control System for Sitra Marketing Terminal. This includes detail engineering, design, procurement, testing, assembly & commissioning. The System is designed with Rockwell Automation's Control-Logix Platform with complete system redundancy, Modbus interface and Operator Interface with touch screen running RS-View32 HMI software. Incidentally this is the first project in the Middle East to utilize Control-Logix processor system with redundancy from Rockwell Automation.
3. ARASCO Chemicals- Kingdom of Saudi Arabia:
Completed Project, which included turnkey supply of PLC and HMI Control System for Di-Calcium Phosphate Plant Automation. This includes detail engineering, design, procurement, testing, assembly & commissioning. The System is designed with Rockwell Automation's SLC 5/04 CPU and FLEX I/Os. The HMI is based on AB RS-View32 HMI software. The HMI configuration supports interconnectivity with the Plant MIS and Web Based Access.
4. Saudi Electricity Co., SEC, Riyadh, KSA:
Completed project involving Up-gradation / Replacement of Allen Bradley PLC-2 System for the Incinerator of PP8 Gas Turbine. This includes detail engineering, design, procurement, testing, assembly & commissioning. The System is designed with Rockwell Automation's PLC 5/40 processor based system with remote I/Os.
5. Gulf Aluminium Rolling Mills Co. GARMCO, Bahrain:
Engineering, Assembly, Supply and Testing of Relay Plates 3 nos.
6. Yokogawa Middle East EC, Bahrain:
(End-user Saudi Aramco) Panel Engineering, Assembly and Supply of System Cabinet.
7. Bently Nevada Corp. / Bahrain Petroleum Co.(BAPCO), Bahrain:
Control Panel Up-gradation of the Vibration Monitoring Cabinets at BAPCO during shutdown period.
8. Saudi Arabian Development Co. SADC, KSA:
On-going project of Control Panel Up-gradation of Control system at North West Pumping Station of Royal Commission, Jubail, KSA. This includes detail engineering, design, procurement, calibration, testing, assembly & commissioning.
9. SABIC Industries ----SADAF Truck Loading System, KSA:
PLC Software Engineering and Commissioning for Modicon PLC based control system for Truck Loading Facility.
10. SIEMENS Middle East, KSA:
PLC Software Engineering, Commissioning of a Allen Bradley PLC and Integration with Siemens TMS system over Modbus, for its project with ARAMCO in KSA.
11. Aluminium Bahrain (ALBA):
Pre-Inspection Testing on R32. This project involved extensive testing on a 11.5kV, 50MVA rectiformer, including DGA and partial discharge measurements to determine to causes of a malfunction, which led to the tripping of the unit. A design analysis was also carried out jointly with the equipment manufacturer.
12. Aluminium Bahrain (ALBA):
Transient System Analysis on PS2 This project consists of a complex study and computer simulations to recommend remedial actions to correct instability problems arising in the power generation network due to frequent switching of the cell line load with respect to the process requirements. The cell line load is an electrolytic process that requires total DC power in the order of 150000 Amperes at 1400 Volts, which is equal to 185MW and 80MVAr on the AC side. A line outage at this time makes the GTs throw-off a load of 100MW causing system instability and loss of generating units.

An existing relay based control system being upgraded to a PLC based Control system, which communicates with the existing Honeywell DCS on Modbus. The new PLC system being installed within the existing explosion proof panel housing the relays.
22. AL Jubail Fertilizer Company, SABIC, Saudi Arabia:
An existing relay based control system being upgraded to a PLC based Control system. The PLC shall communicate with the existing Yokogawa DCS on Modbus. The new PLC system being installed will be an AB SLC 5/04 in Hot Standby configuration with facility of 1ms Time Stamping and SOE for select inputs.

36. Aluminium Bahrain –ALBA, Bahrain
Life Assessment of 6 Nos., 47MVA rectifier transformers (RT). The Rectiformers are in service for the last 12 years. The purpose of this project is to evaluate the condition of the transformers and to infer a decision on the remaining life and reliability index of the units. Possible engineering solutions are also to be recommended to improve the service availability of the transformers.
